Shipping Policy 

We ship all our products, including ready made terrariums across the UK. 

Standard Delivery - £5 (Under £50) or FREE (Over £50)

  • Usually dispatched within 2-3 working days
  • All orders are sent on tracked services by DPD

Next or Named Day - Additional £4 (weekday) or £12 (weekend)

  • Order by 2 pm for next day delivery
  • Delivered on a tracked 24h/next day service
  • Select a convenient delivery date at the basket

Once your order is dispatched you’ll receive email notification from us.

If you’d like a parcel to be delivered to one of the above postcodes, please contact us before to find out the shipping costs. 

Important:

We reserve the right not to combine two separate orders into one package. If you place two separate orders, they will be shipped in separate packages.

I’d like to add something to the order

If you would like to add something to your order please contact us and we will check if there is the possibility to make any changes.

Free shipping is offered once only.

If the customer does not pick up the package, gives the wrong address, or for any other reason it is not delivered due to the customer's fault, we will not offer free re-shipping. In the event of cancellation of the order, the cost of the products will be refunded, excluding shipping costs. In the event of a re-shipment, the customer will have to pay for the re-shipping costs to fulfill the order.

Failed delivery

Kindly ensure you're available to receive your parcel upon delivery. We cannot be held accountable for missed deliveries due to an incorrect address or unavailability, nor for any damage to plants that may occur if they are stored in depots or left with neighbors.

Should your package be returned by the courier for any reason, we can only issue refunds for non-perishable items (this includes ready-made terrariums)  and the delivery charge is non-refundable. Additionally, we reserve the right to subtract any costs incurred from the package being returned to us. 

Delivery Issues / Extending delivery dates

While we cannot always guarantee a delivery date, we will make every effort to deliver on your desired date. All orders are dispatched using a 24-hour delivery service the day before your chosen date.

The Urban Botanist disclaims responsibility for any issues arising from incorrect addresses. Should a delay occur because of an inaccurate address, we cannot be held liable for any plant damage resulting from the delay.

If you decide to alter or extend your delivery date after the package has been dispatched, The Urban Botanist assumes no responsibility for the condition of the plants upon arrival.
