After spending a lot of time looking for a large terrarium I discovered The Urban Botanist and their amazing range of terrariums. This extra large one met my requirements perfectly and I was very impressed by the specifications and price so ordered two. The shipping costs were very reasonable and although I was a little apprehensive about them being shipped they were packaged extremely well and arrived quicker than I expected and completely undamaged. Planting them up was easy as there is plenty of room to get my hand inside the bottle and all I have to do now is wait for my plants to grow.

I did carefully fit some LED lighting strip on the underside of the cork to ensure the plants get better light than they otherwise would away from a window. This also highlights the plants and provides a subtle background light to the room when it is dark.

I have no doubt that these will be a success and give me many years of pleasure and I look forward to seeing the plants grow and mature.

Order arrived on time, well packaged for protection and with a good selection of plants.

A well put together package of plants and substrate, carefully packaged and quickly dispatched. Putting it together was simple for this first timer -- the Urban Botanist provided clear, step-by-step instructions - leading to a very successful installation. I'm exceptionally pleased with the result.

True beauty in miniature
I bought the Terrarium for my wife who is a plant lover and very keen gardener. It was despatched very promptly and arrived exceptionally well packaged to prevent any damage.
The plants inside looked very healthy and it was very obvious that a lot of thought and care had gone into the layout and presentation of the contents.
I purchased the lid with the built in light which when turned on in a low lit room added to the beauty of this outstanding purchase.
My wife and I are so pleased with the product that we are now looking to purchase a bigger Terrarium with different plants from the Urban Botanist as the whole experience from purchase to delivery has been first class. We highly recommend this company and their products.

I bought the limited edition Secret Garden terrarium as a present for my wife and she loves it. It is really impressive and so far seems very easy to maintain. Will be looking to buy a few of the other terrariums in the future.

I purchased this terrarium as a gift and it exceeded my expectations. Firstly it was packaged very well for transit so it made it to my door in perfect condition. The glass jar itself is a really good size and the plants inside are beautiful. The whole thing is put together wonderfully and there are good care instructions so you can keep it looking perfect.
